I love the research.
Give me a destination, a handful of hotel options, and a route to untangle, and I'm completely in my element. Half the fun is comparing possibilities until everything clicks into place.
I get invested, too.
Don't be surprised if I send you a restaurant I found after dinner or a better hotel I stumbled across while "finished" researching. Once I'm done planning your trip, my brain keeps working on it.
I notice the details.
I've learned that little decisions often have the biggest impact. Staying in a different neighborhood, choosing the easier train connection, or splurging on the right room can completely change a trip.
I leave room to wander.
I love a thoughtful itinerary, but I don't believe every minute should be scheduled. The best vacations leave room for unexpected discoveries that end up becoming your favorite memories.
How Branch & Bloom Began
My friends have learned not to casually mention a vacation they’re thinking about taking.
Because before long, I’ll have a Google Doc started with hotel recommendations, neighborhood suggestions, restaurant ideas, activities, and probably a few extra ideas you didn’t ask for.
That’s when it clicked: maybe this wasn’t just a hobby after all.
Enter Branch & Bloom. I realized the part I loved most wasn’t just planning my trips — it was getting excited about everyone else’s. Give me a destination, a reason for the trip, and all the logistics in between, and I’m genuinely in my happy place.
